  1. The suppression of antioxidative enzymes, reduction in GSH and TAC levels, and the increment in MDA levels revealed the induction of oxidative stress in rats with pneumonia. However, the administration of EGCG in animal models of pneumonia significantly ameliorated oxidative stress.
