EGCG attenuated LPS-induced inflammation in the lung tissue. Animal models of pneumonia characterized high levels of inflammatory mediators including TNF-α (A), IL-6 (B), IL-1β (C), and NO (D). Administration of EGCG could significantly reduce the level of the mentioned factors. The lowercase letters presented on the bars describe the result of the statistical analysis, where different letters indicate significant differences between groups; the p-value < 0.05 was considered significant
