Effects of EFT on the cell-cycle in PANC-1 cells. (A) Cells were exposed to different concentrations of EFT for 24 h (0.1% DMSO as a control). After treatment, cells were harvested and subject to flow cytometry to assess the cell cycle distribution. At least 10,000 cells were analyzed per sample. (B) The distribution of cells in each phase of the cell cycle after treatment with 50, 100 and 200 µg/mL EFT (0.1% DMSO as a control). All tests were performed in triplicate and presented as mean ± standard deviation. (C and E) PANC-1 cells were treated with 50, 100 µg/mL EFT for 24 h and 200 µg/mL EFT for 12, 24, 48 h (0.1% DMSO as a control). The total protein of treated cells was determined. Western blot analysis of the effect of EFT on protein levels of CDK2 in PANC-1 cells. (D and F) Quantification of CDK2 ratios. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001, compared with control (0.1% DMSO only)
