Western blotting showed that the protein levels of iNOS (a) and COX-2 (b) were considerably higher in the LPS-treated RAW 264.7 macrophages than in the controls. SC-E1 pretreatment reduced the LPS-induced increases in iNOS protein levels. β-actin was used as an internal control. Each experiment conducted for 3 repeats per conditions.
