Effects of Allium sativum extract on IL-17 and IL-4 gene expression in PBMCs. IL-17 (a) and IL-4 (c) transcripts were evaluated in PBMCs treated with two doses of A.S. IL-17 (b) and IL-4 (d) transcripts were assessed in PBMCs stimulated with PHA in the absence or presence of two doses of A.S.. Data were represented in mean ± S.D. Data were analyzed using the one-way ANOVA test. (*, ***) indicate P values of less than 0.05 and 0.001 respectively. Data shown in a, b, c and d are representative of four, three, five and five independent experiments respectively
