It is incredulous that reviewers allowed the publication of this paper in its current state. The authors give no detail at all as to the composition of the so-called 'organic silicon'. The authors make no attempt to determine if this 'product' dissociated in cell culture media to release silicic acid. The authors make no attempt to identify any direct effects of the 'organic silicon' in the absence added hydropgen peroxide. The authors do not even contemplate that whatever 'organic' moeity is also present in the 'organic silicon' product might be responsible for all of the so-called effects attributed to silicon. The authors seem to be well read in the field and yet they ignore all of the above, quite incredulous. However, what is much worse is that the reviewers did not pick up on all of these fundamental flaws in the science.
