Percentage of cells at early apoptotic stage demonstrated by FITC + /PI − . The percentage of cells at early apoptotic stage was significantly increased in irradiated and Gelam honey-treated HDFs as compared to untreated control. Irradiated HDFs pretreated with Gelam honey showed decreased percentage of cells at early apoptotic stage as compared to irradiated HDFs. aDenotes p < 0.05 compared to untreated control, bp < 0.05 compared to irradiated HDFs, cp < 0.05 compared to Gelam honey-treated HDFs, dp < 0.05 compared to pre-treated HDFs, Data are expressed as mean ± SD (n = 6).
