Effects of SHYGC-containing rabbit sera, prepared with various methods, on HBsAg level in HepG2 2.2.15 cells-conditioned media. Panel A, inactivated rabbit serum had no effect on HBsAg level in the conditioned media, while non-inactivated serum significantly mitigated HBsAg expression (* P < 0.05 versus Control and Inactivated Serum). Panel B, rabbit sera containing medium dose of SHYGC administrated with various regimens inhibited HBsAg expression (* P < 0.05 and ** P < 0.01 versus Serum Vehicle), and the potencies of SHYGC-containing sera prepared by administration twice daily and thrice daily were higher than once daily († P < 0.05).
