Cell viability in macrophages. Cells were treated with MEJG at 1.56, 3.12, 6.25, 12.5, 25, 50, 100, and 200 μg/ml, and the viability was determined by MTT assays. The results are expressed as the percentage of surviving cells relative to control cells. The data were obtained from three independent experiments and are expressed as the means ± SD *p < 0.5 (n = 8)
