Effects of water and ethanolic extracts prepared from the powdered formula of H. cordata fermented broth and P. emblica fruit on cell cycle progression were analyzed by flow cytometry after the cells were stained with propidium iodide. For cell cycle analysis, Jurkat (a, b), MCF7 (c, d) and Vero (e, f) cells were treated with or without (control) the extracts for 24 h.
