6-OHDA (100 μM) effects in the presence or absence of seaweeds extracts (1 mg/mL) on Caspase-3 activity of SH-SY5Y cells after 6 h of treatment. The activity was quantified by the slope of the linear phase accumulation of Rhodamine 110 (between 20 and 40 min). The results are presented in arbitrary units of fluorescence per mg protein. The values in each column represent the mean ± standard error of the mean (SEM) from 3 to 4 experiments.
