The influence of BM on inducing apoptosis in WEHI-3 cells. The cells were analysed by flow cytometry after exposure to the treatment in the different times as early or late apoptosis. FITC-conjugated Annexin V and PI were added to each of the control and treated cells. The cells status was presented as healthy (Annexin−/−PI) condensed in the quadrant (Q3–1); early apoptotic (Annexin+/−PI), (Q4–1); late stage of apoptosis (Annexin+/PI+), (Q2–1), where the necrotic cell was (Annexin−/PI+), in (Q1–1). The cell are presented as a for control, b for 24 h, c 48 h, and d 72 h. e The bar chart presents the percentage of viable and early and late apoptotic cells, showing a significant increase in the number of apoptotic and necrotic cells after BM treatment (*p < 0.05)
