From: Inhibition of biofilm formation in Mycobacterium smegmatis by Parinari curatellifolia leaf extracts
The effects of P. curatellifolia total extract on M. smegmatis growth. The M. smegmatis mc2 155 laboratory strain at a concentration of 2 × 106 cfu/mL was treated with the total extract from concentration of 0 μg/ml to 100 μg/ml of the plant extract. The bacteria were incubated with extracts at 37 ̊ C for 20 h and cell density was determined by measuring absorbance of reduced MTT at 590 nm. The error bars on the graphs indicate the standard deviation from mean (n = 4). Dunnet’s multiple comparison test was used to compare the columns using graph pad prism 5 software.
