M. smegmatis mc2 155 laboratory strain at concentration of 2 × 106 cfu/mL was treated with different concentrations of the acetone (a) and ethanol extract (b) from 0 μg/ml up to 100 μg/ml. The bacteria were incubated with extracts at 37 ̊ C for 20 h and cell density was determined by measuring absorbance of reduced MTT at 590 nm. The error bars on the graphs indicate the standard deviation from mean (n = 4). Dunnet’s multiple comparison test was used to compare columns using Graphpad prism 6 software.
