Effects of DQP on the levels of NF-κB, STAT3 and PPARα. Western blot showed that compared with the sham group, expressions of NF-κB and STAT3 in the model group were up-regulated (P = 0.074, P < 0.01). Expression of PPARα was down-regulated (P = 0.031) in the model group compared with that in the sham group. DQP could inhibit NF-κB level but showed no effect on STAT3 expression. Pravastatin had no effect on expression of STAT3 either. Compared with the model group, PPARα level increased in DQP group. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01.
