Effect of MPE and VTE on deep granulation tissue antioxidants, reduced glutathione (GSH), Superoxide dismutase (SOD) and Catalase (CAT). Results are mean ± SEM of 6 rats in each group. Control values of GSH, 13.1±0.56 nM/mg protein; SOD, 323.3±21.7 mU/mg protein and CAT, 37.0±3.75 mU/mg protein. P values: ^a< 0.05 and ^c< 0.001 compared to respective control group.
