Effects of β -sitosterol on the collagen-1 and α-SMA mRNA expressions in activated HSCs. Relatively expressed COL1A1 (A) and ACTA2 (B) levels were measured by real-time quantitative PCR. Experiments were carried out at least twice performed in triplicate.
