Effect of HCE-EA on the production of inflammatory mediators in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages. Cells were treated with various concentrations (0, 25, 50, 100 or 200 μg/mL) of HCE-EA plus LPS (1 μg/mL) or LPS alone for 20 h. (A) NO content in the conditioned medium was measured by using the Griess reagent. (B-D) PGE2, TNF-α, and IL-6 production were determined by using an ELISA kit. Each bar represents the mean ± the SD (n = 3 independent experiments **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001 vs. LPS alone (control)).
