  1. Rats were fed with the diluent, NSPE, OMP and the different MeOHGCM6 extract concentrations 30 minutes prior to feeding with absolute EtOH. Rats were sacrificed after an hour and gastric mucus secretion was collected and quantified. Results are expressed as mean ± S.D. from six animals.
