Effect of Berberine chloride (Bi) and Berberis vulgaris extract (ex) on viability of three human cancer cell lines. Different concentration of both Berberine chloride and berberis vulgaris were incubated with 105 cells /ml of breast cancer (MCF7), Liver Cancer (HepG2) and Colon cancer (CACO-2) cell lines (ATTC, see Methods) for 24, 48 and 72 hours, cell viability were evaluated by using neutral red cell stainig.
