PPD activated the NF-κB pathway via ROS generation. (A) 24 h after transient transfection of NF-κB reporter plasmids, HCT-116 cells were treated with different concentrations of PPD for 24 h before the luciferase reporter activity was determined. (B) HCT-116 cells were treated with 35 μM of PPD for 24 h in the presence or absence of NAC (10 mM). (C) HCT-116 cells were treated with 35 μM of PPD for 24 h in the presence or absence of PS-1145 (50 μM).
