The CTCM had a bronchodilator effect. Guinea pigs were treated with a nebulized form of the CTCM, and the pulmonary resistance (RL) was significantly reduced (to 61.0 ± 0.01% of the baseline) 20 min post-CTCM treatment, while no change was seen in the animals treated with saline.
