Cells were treated with various concentrations of hydrobenzoin, 5-HMF and benzyl alcohol for 24 h, in the presence of 10 μg/ml LPS. After incubation, the PGE2 accumulation in the medium was determined by the HPLC system. All the PGE2 production data of samples above were within the detect range of HPLC method (0.1448-90 μg/ml). The samples over the range were diluted until appropriate to injecting into HPLC system.Back to article page
