Ginseng inhibits EGFR signals and Cox-2 up-regulation and increases pro-apoptotic Bax in AOM/DSS tumors. Control mucosa (-G, Western diet alone, +G, Western diet + ginseng) and colonic tumors were homogenized in Laemmli buffer and indicated proteins detected by Western blotting.
